Description

The Zoll R Series ALS Defibrillator with Expansion Pack (which adds See-Thru CPR, CPR Dashboard, and Wi-Fi capability) is a sophisticated, yet easy-to-use manual unit with full networking capability, advanced monitoring parameters, and full CPR support. The Advanced Life Support Monitor/Defibrillator brings simple, smart, and ready defibrillation to hospitals.

Note: Batteries are not included. The Zoll SurePower Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery Pack (#8019-0535-01) may be purchased separately and is compatible with R Series, E Series, and AED Pro Defibrillators.

Warranty: 5 Years - Free from Defects in Material and Workmanship.

Real CPR Help and See-Thru CPR technology allow the rescuer to see depth and rate of compression as well as monitor underlying ECG rhythm while performing CPR. See-Thru CPR reduces the duration of pauses during CPR so rescuers are able to see whether an organized underlying rhythm has developed without stopping compressions. Real CPR Help guides rescuers with text and audio feedback on CPR quality measures with numeric data based on real time depth and rate of compressions. To take advantage of Real CPR Help, use OneStep Complete, OneStep CPR, or OneStep Pediatric CPR electrodes.

The R Series Defibrillator also features Rectilinear Biphasic Waveform (RBW) that was designed for external defibrillation to control for variations in patient impedance through a series of digitally-controlled internal resistors. This feature provides the maximum average current held for the optimum duration. RBW provides more current than the typical "high energy" biphasic that other defibrillators use, and has proven to be more effective than monophasic waveforms, especially on high-impedance patients.

The R Series works with the Zoll OneStep Pacing system. With OneStep Pacing and Zoll OneStep electrodes, the need for a separate ECG cable is eliminated. The ECG electrodes are incorporated with an anterior OneStep electrode. The electrodes are triangular and incorporate a circular multi-function therapy electrode in the middle and three ECG electrodes at the ends of the triangular electrode pad shape. While the therapy portion emits a pacing pulse, the ECG electrodes acquire signals from the heart and function as the monitoring element. Electrodes for this function are sold separately.

Extensive Pediatric Capabilities: When used with OneStep Pediatric electrodes, the R Series automatically reduces the shock energy to a lower protocol, starting at 50 joules rather than 120. And when it is in Advisory mode, the OneStep Pediatric electrodes enable a pediatric algorithm that can distinguish between a shockable and non-shockable rhythm. The unique OneStep Pediatric CPR electrodes also provide visual feedback by displaying the rate and depth of every compression on the CPR dashboard. These electrodes are specifically designed to ensure precise CPR measurements in small children.

Features

Zoll R Series ALS Defibrillator with Expansion Pack Features

  • See-Thru CPR filter and compression index.
  • CPR Dashboard featuring Real CPR Help: Guides rescuers with real-time audio and visual feedback on CPR quality measures. It provides numeric displays of depth and rate and visual indicators of compression release, as well as a unique Perfusion Performance Indicator.
  • OneStep Electrode Technology.
  • ECG 3/5-lead cable with AHA markings.
  • OneStep system with CPR cable.
  • Code Readiness Testing System: The R Series conducts a comprehensive self-test of more than 110 individual indicators of readiness (including the status of necessary connection cables, battery power, and electrodes) once a day. Using standard wireless technology, it can automatically relay this information to Defibrillator Dashboard, which provides a quick snapshot of the overall health of the entire defibrillator fleet that can be viewed on a PC or mobile device. Defibrillator Dashboard optimizes defibrillator readiness and increases efficiency for the biomedical engineering team.
  • Defibrillator mentor familiarization aid.
  • Advisory defibrillation.
  • Built-in test, compact flash card, and USB port.
  • WiFi (802.11) compatible (required modem).
  • Color LCD display.
  • Power Source: AC or battery operated.
