Face Masks and Face Shields

Face shields can be comfortably worn over prescription glasses or other protective eyewear. Respirators

These masks are approved by the CDC's National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) to protect the respiratory tract from airborne infectious agents. Nitrile, latex, and vinyl gloves are recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for personal protection against contact with potential infectious or hazardous materials. Nitrile gloves have become a great choice for facilities concerned with patients' latex allergies. Vinyl gloves are also frequently available and work well if there is limited patient contact. Both latex and nitrile gloves protect against viruses where vinyl gloves primarily protect against chemicals.
