B. Braun Perfusor Space Syringe Pump

The B. Braun Perfusor Space Syringe Pump is the first syringe pump to include air and road transport in the 510(k) cleared indications for use. Its state-of-the-art versatility promotes efficiencies for OR/Anesthesia, NICU, PICU, Oncology, ICU, CCU, and Emergency Departments and is intended to be used by trained healthcare professionals in healthcare facilities, and air and/or road transport situations. During design and validation each device undergoes more than 100 hours of usability testing with registered, practicing nurses and anesthesiologists.

Its compact design allows for vertical stacking to save space in healthcare settings and the KeyGuard non-numeric keypad with simple arrows is intended to prevent manual programming errors related to zero vs decimal entry.

The Perfusor Space features wireless integration that allows for complete interoperability and an integrated piston brake that helps prevent inadvertent bolus during syringe change. Post-occlusion bolus reduction software helps minimize bolus after occlusion. Automatic drive technology ensures accuracy and safety. BD Alaris 8300 SpO Module

Integrated with BD Alaris smart pump technology, the BD Alaris 8300 SpO Module continuously measures the amount of CO during every breath, the amount of CO present at the end of the exhalation (EtCO) and during inhalation (FiCO), and the respiratory rate.

This, along with patented micro stream Non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) Spectroscopy, enables continuous respiratory monitoring that reduces the risks of opioid infusions. Customizable profiles provide flexibility across all patient-care areas and sampling lines reduce the need for moving parts, external sensors or routine calibration.

The 8300 features two IUI Connectors (left and right) and utilizes three status indicators - alarm (red), monitoring (green), and standby (yellow). EtCO mmHg display, respiratory rate display, channel (module) message display, and channel (module) identification make for added convenience.
