This scale is eye-level which makes measurements easy to see and record, and the weigh beam may be viewed from either side of the scale. The 2491 model is also equipped with a hand post for weaker and elderly individuals to maintain stability on the scale.

Conversion weights (#809161182804) may be used with this scale to increase its weighing capacity.

good question to be asked

The scale is exactly what I wanted. I did not know that it would be shipped with kg weight rather than pounds. I tried conversion but am sadly lacking in understanding kg. Now I have to exchange it for one that gives weight in pounds and ounces. This would be helpful to all prospective buyers,
