The Gomco Metal Cap & Float Assembly features a hospital patient port to help prevent kinking of the suction tubing and a hose stem vacuum inlet that sits inside the glass or polycarbonate collection bottle.

The positive shut-off cap and float assembly interrupts suction to help prevent fluid carryover into the pump. The cap outer diameter measures 2.93" and the float outer diameter measures 1.75".
