Configuration Options

You can purchase these assemblies in two ways:

  1. Bottle Only: This includes the glass collection bottle itself. These are typically packaged in cases (12 units for 473 ml and 600 ml; 6 units for 1200 ml).
  2. Bottle with Cap and Float Assembly: This complete unit includes the bottle, an autoclavable cap, and the float mechanism. This option features the essential positive shut-off mechanism to prevent fluid overflow and safeguard the suction regulator. This configuration also includes the DISS female connection and hose barb DISS adapter.
Are the glass suction bottles fully autoclavable?

Yes, both the bottles and the associated assemblies are designed for complete sterilization.

  • Bottle Material: The collection bottles are made of durable glass, which is autoclavable.

This complete autoclavability ensures the units can be maintained at high levels of sterility for repeated use in medical and clinical settings.

What connections come with the cap assembly?

The complete cap and float assembly includes the necessary fittings for connecting to your suction regulator. Specifically, you receive both a DISS female connection and a hose barb DISS adapter.

Are the glass collection bottles sold separately?

Yes, the durable glass collection bottles can be purchased separately from the complete assemblies. This allows you to replace bottles without buying the cap and float mechanism.

Are the components designed for frequent sterilization?

Absolutely. Both the glass bottles and the cap and float assemblies are constructed from professional-grade, resilient materials that are completely autoclavable. This ensures they meet the high sanitary and infection-control standards required in busy hospitals, surgical centers, and clinical environments.
