Uncomfortable, too stiff

I was really hoping that I would like this product considering it is supposedly the same product I've used in physical therapy. This one is too stiff, uncomfortable, hurts my lower back and neck (which has caused headaches). Maybe the wedges at PT were "broken in". This one will never break in because I won't use it. It's not returnable, so I'm stuck with it. I'll search elsewhere for a wedge.
