Sklar Black Laser Steiner-Auvard Weighted Speculum

The Sklar Black Steiner-Auvard Weighted Vaginal Speculum is a single end vaginal speculum commonly used in laser OB/GYN procedures such as vaginal hysterectomy or dilation and curettage. This speculum features extra long blades, measuring 5-1/2" x 1-1/4". It is weighted with a medium, 2-1/2 lb. weight. Sklar Black Laser instruments feature a non-reflective black polymer coating applied over the sandblasted instrument developed specifically for laser surgeries. This safe, durable coating reduces laser reflection to less than one-tenth of a percent, ensuring a safer surgical environment for patients and surgical staff. All Sklar Black coated instruments comply with biological testing requirements for cytotoxicity, sensitization regulatory, and ISO 10993 requirements. They also comply with the Pre-Vacuum and Gravity Cycle Steam Sterilization Validation of ANSI/AAMI ST79. Sklar Black laser coatings are guaranteed for one year against manufacturing defects. This product has a permanent smoke evacuation tube.
