Coag-sense accessories are designed for use with the PT2. The Coag-Sense Safety Lancet Needle is a single-use, auto-disabling 21 g, 2.2 mm depth auto safety lancet. It can be used by either clinicians or home patients to procure a blood sample for the PT2 PT/INR Monitoring System.

Another accessory that can help users with the PT2 is the Coag-Sense Coagulation Control Strip Kit. This kit includes (5) high control strips, (5) low control strips, and control activation solution. With it, users can perform quality control tests on the PT2 to verify the integrity of its performance. Each control strip contains plasma of known INR. Real plasma allows for a fully functional liquid quality control test of both the reagent's ability to generate the clot and the analyzer's ability to detect a clot.
