Description
The SleepSense Beltless Piezo Effort Sensor (#1390) with safety DIN connectors is a miniature, flat Piezo Sensor that was especially designed for infants and preemies. Apply this sensor with a piece of adhesive tape on the chest or abdomen to acquire a strong and stable effort signal.
Warranty: Factory 1 Year - Free of Defects in Materials and Quality Workmanship.
Using a piezo-electric crystal, the respiration effort sensor converts chest or abdominal respiration motions to a small analog voltage that provides a clear, reliable indication of respiration waveforms. The micro-effort sensor is especially small and sensitive to higher frequency respiration movements, and was designed for monitoring respiration movements of infants and preterm babies.
The sensor does not require a battery or interface; it is easily activated by plugging the connector(s) into any AC (low level) channel on the recorder.
NOTE: SleepSense items are for professional use only, and are for sale by or on the order of a physician only.
