The SleepSense Adult Inductive Plethysmography Belt is sold in a pack of two and is made of a high-quality, soft, and flexible material providing superior comfort to the patient. Velcro tabs allow you to conform any belt specifically to your patient's size. These belts have the ability to stretch up to 1.5x their initial size. The generous width of the belt minimizes the sliding and shifting that occurs during the night.

SleepSense Inductive Belts are semi-reusable, and should last for around 70 uses, however some labs have reported much longer usage. Due to the durable semi-reusable design, these belts have a low per-use cost.
The inductance of the inductive belt is exactly proportional to the cross section area of the band's closed loop around the body, and therefore changes as the patient breathes. The electronics in the system or interface box measure these inductive changes to generate a signal that is the most accurate and reliable replication of respiration waveforms.
Inductive belts easily connect to any system compatible with inductive effort sensors through a dedicated SleepSense interface cable.
