Sklar's Disposable, Sterile, Carbon Steel Surgical Blade #11 is most commonly used for puncture incisions or to open an artery. It has an angled cutting edge that leads to an extremely sharp point. Care should be taken to avoid inadvertently passing the blade too deep into the skin.
