Description
Sklar's Randall Endometrial Biopsy Curette is an OB/GYN instrument typically used for obtaining tissue samples from the endometrium for biopsy. It is a hollow curette with a thin stylet, and a small, sharp opening near the slightly curved tip. The curette, with the stylet inside, is inserted and moved in such a motion so as to collect tissue from the endometrial cavity. The tissue is then removed from the curette by pulling the stylet out and placing the tissue in a separate container until biopsy. This product has a 4mm outside diameter and overall length of 9-1/2 inches. There is a small, smooth, oval thumb piece attached to the curette to improve control of the instrument.
