Sklar Iris Dressing Forceps, also known as a "pick up," are thumb style forceps commonly used for placing or removing dressings in many types of procedures. Although Dressing Forceps were originally designed to specifically hold materials such as gauze, they have come to have a variety of additional functions. They may be used for removing foreign objects or dead tissue from wounds, as well as other small surgical materials such as tubing. Serrated jaws assist in a having a secure hold on items. This product is half curved with serrated tips and an overall length of 4 inches.
