Sklar Edge TC Wire Cutting Scissors feature short shanks and very short jaws which are particularly useful for cutting wire sutures or wire mesh. The short jaws and small groove on each blade hold the wire and prevent it from slipping as pressure is applied for cutting. Sklar Edge Tungsten Carbide Scissors provide an exceptionally durable and hard cutting edge. They are designed to stay sharp for a significantly longer period of time than standard scissors. Sklar permanently bonds tungsten carbide inserts to the blades of the scissors which maximizes control and precision. This product has angled jaws with one serrated edge, blunt/blunt tips and a length of 4-3/4 inches.
