Description
Sklar's TC Potts-Smith vascular scissors are non-ratcheted finger ring instruments commonly used for trimming and opening vessel in cardio thoracic procedures. These delicate scissors are heavier than the Diethrichs and can therefore also be used in cutting through plaque. The Potts-Smith are available in different degrees of jaw angles. Tungsten carbide instruments are designed to stay sharp for a long time, to maximize precision and control. Sklar permanently bonds TC inserts to the instrument, identified by gold handles.
