The Ferno K.E.D. - Kendrick Extrication Device (#0313676) is a wrap-around unit that is capable of extricating patients from car accident scenes or other confined/precarious areas.
This device comes with a the wrap-around vest, adjust a-Pad neck roll, two head straps, and a carrying case.

In an emergency situation where a patient is hard to reach or a backboard is too large, this extrication device can be an efficient substitute. The K.E.D. has a wide girth and adjustable straps to adapt to patients of any size, while also maintaining a vertical rigidity to support the patient's torso, spine, neck, and head. The device is also x-ray translucent, so patients can be diagnosed without removing the device entirely.
