Description
The Ferno K.E.D. Kendrick Extrication Device (#0313676 / Model 125) includes a wrap-around vest, Adjusta-Pad neck roll for padding, two head straps, and a carrying case.
Warranty: 1 Year Limited - Free from Defects in Material and Workmanship.
The Model 125 Kendrick Extrication Device immobilizes the torso, head, and neck, enabling prompt extrication of patients from auto accidents and other confined spaces while minimizing risks of further injury. It can be used for multiple patient sizes, including children and pregnant women.
The two-part, wrap-around design provides horizontal flexibility for easy application and vertical rigidity for maximum support of the spine, neck, and head during extrication. In an emergency situation where a patient is hard to reach or a backboard is too large, this extrication device can be an efficient substitute. The K.E.D. has a wide girth and adjustable straps to adapt to patients of any size.
X-rays or advanced life support procedures can be performed with the Model 125 K.E.D. in place, as adjustable, fold-back sides permit easy access to the patient's chest.
