The Dynarex 800 cc Suction Canister (Hi-Flow) (24/Case) (#4672) features a self-sealing filter that prevents backflow and a foam guard to prevent premature shutoff. The pre-assembled lid on the suction canister includes a straight port (800cc) to prevent the tubing from kinking. No adapter is needed for this canister.
