The Cardinal Health Compression System V-Impulse ImPad Foot SCD Covers are integral components of the A-V Impulse Foot Compression System, designed to aid in the prevention of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.

These foot covers feature a rigid sole that directs pneumatic impulses to the plantar plexus, mimicking the natural hemodynamic action of walking by evacuating blood from the bottom of the foot. This mechanism enhances venous return and circulation, thereby reducing the risk of blood clots. Additional features include anatomically shaped bladders, large dorsum wraps for cushioning, and vent holes to promote air circulation and patient comfort. The Medium model is suited for medium-sized feet, while the Large accommodates larger foot sizes. Both models are intended for single-patient use and are compatible with the A-V Impulse Foot Compression System controller.
