The SleepSense Chest Inductive Interface Cable with DIN connectors allows you to connect any SleepSense inductive belt to nearly any PSG system. Designed as a plug-and-play replacement for piezo effort sensors, the output of inductive bands is exactly proportional to the cross section area of the band's closed loop around the body, therefore changing as the patient breathes. The electronics in the interface box measure these inductance changes to generate an AC signal that is the most accurate and reliable replication of respiration waveforms. The internal battery is good for 700 nights. No calibration is required.

SleepSense Infant Thermal Flow Sensor

A miniature, nasal flow only, thermocouple sensor, the SleepSense Infant Thermal Flow Sensor is specifically designed to detect respiration flow sensing for infants and preemies. Applied on the forehead, the thermocouple elements produce a strong and clear signal. The infant flow sensor is placed on the bridge of the infant's nose, with the protruding part folded so the sensor elements are located under the nostrils. It makes use of heat-sensitive elements to generate a signal in response to temperature changes. Due to the small size of the wires, a good signal can even be produced by a weaker flow. The output may be connected to any AC (low level) channel on the recorder.

Measuring approximately 60 cm in length and designed for use on child patients, the SleepSense Pediatric Inductive Plethysmography Belt comes in packs of two. The belt is semi-reusable and made of soft, stretchy material. Hook and loop tabs on the belt attach anywhere on the belt itself, making adjustments very easy and keeping the profile slim and comfortable. It is made to last roughly 70 uses before needing replacement (however some labs have reported much longer usage).
