The "Emergency Preparedness Ventilator" 100 is a small, cost-effective, and reliable unit for mass casualty emergency situations.
The EPV100 Portable Ventilator shares most of the same features as the EPV200, without the Assist-Control. It's lightweight, durable, and resistant to most weather conditions (including rain). This unit can be powered for 48 hours via two D-cell batteries, or can be pneumatically controlled via an oxygen source. On the front is a user-friendly display, on which emergency responders can clearly see the inspiratory time, tidal volume, and BPM controls. In addition, responders can keep track of a patient's condition with the various audio and visual alarms on the unit.
This unit is lightweight and long-lasting, making it best for emergency situations requiring critical support or stockpiling for future use.
