Description

The Allied Healthcare Minilator is a user-friendly constant flow device that provides oxygen for up to 5 patients simultaneously.

Warranty: 1 Year - Parts and Labor.

The Minilator features 50 psig outlets, which are compatible with a demand resuscitator valve, suction device, CPAP mask, or ventilator. The device supports oxygen flow for up to 5 patients at a time, with a choice between 40 to 90 psig, or low flow oxygen settings. The DISS outlets are compatible with the Minilator orifices, which range from a flow rate of 2 lpm to 10 lpm. Once the Minilator is attached to an oxygen source, these connectors and hoses can confidently produce a reliable air flow.

Each order comes with a zippered nylon case for clean storage and transport. The Minilator comes ready to use and is available in four configurations with different sized orifices that determine liters per minute air flow. See Configurations chart below for more details on the accessories.

Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum patient capacity?

The Allied Healthcare Minilator is designed to provide constant oxygen flow for up to five patients simultaneously from a single source. It utilizes five independent O2 DISS check valves for these connections.

Expandability for Mass Casualty Situations

For emergency or mass casualty situations requiring more connections, Minilator units are engineered to be connected in tandem (one after another), allowing you to effectively increase the total number of oxygen outlets beyond five.

Is the Minilator compatible with various respiratory devices?

Yes, the Allied Healthcare Minilator is designed for high compatibility, supporting oxygen delivery to up to five patients simultaneously. It utilizes five 50 psig outlets (DISS compatible), which integrate seamlessly with a range of standard respiratory and emergency equipment, including:

  • Demand resuscitator valves
  • Suction devices
  • CPAP masks
  • Ventilators
Is the manifold constructed from durable anodized aluminum?

Yes, the Allied Healthcare Minilator is designed for reliability and extreme durability, even in harsh conditions. The manifold is built to withstand corrosive materials and harsh weather.

Key materials used include:

  • Manifold: Constructed from anodized aluminum.
  • Fittings: Plated brass.
  • Orifices: Stainless steel.
  • Barbs: H.I. polystyrene.

This robust construction maintains a lightweight profile, weighing only 13.5 oz (0.38 kg).

Is the Minilator lightweight and compact for transport?

Yes, the Allied Healthcare Minilator is highly portable and specifically designed for rapid deployment in field and emergency settings. Its compact size and lightweight construction make it easy to transport and store, even in rugged conditions.

Key features ensuring its portability include:

  • Weight: Only 13.5 oz (0.38 kg).
  • Dimensions (Without Barbs): 1 inch x 3 inches x 6 inches.
  • Dimensions (With Barbs): 1 inch x 6 inches x 7.5 inches.
  • Storage: It includes a durable, zippered nylon carrying case (5” x 8”) for clean storage and protection during transit.
What is the required supply pressure for the Allied Healthcare Minilator?

The Allied Healthcare Minilator requires a supply pressure of 40-90 psig.

Is the Minilator flow control versatile?

Yes, the Allied Healthcare Minilator offers highly versatile, constant-flow oxygen delivery. This is achieved through interchangeable Minilator orifices, allowing the system to adapt to various patient needs.

Key aspects of its flow versatility and output include:

  • Configurable Flow Rates: Flow rates can be set between 2 lpm and 15 lpm depending on the installed orifice. Standard configurations typically support 4, 6, 10, or 15 lpm settings.
  • Multi-Patient Support: The device is engineered to reliably supply constant flow oxygen to up to five patients concurrently.
  • Broad Compatibility: The five 50 psig outlets are compatible with various critical care devices, such as CPAP masks, suction devices, demand resuscitator valves, or ventilators.
  • Tandem Expandability: For mass casualty situations, multiple Minilator units can be easily connected in tandem to significantly increase the number of available oxygen access points.
What specific flow rates are configurable?

The Minilator provides a constant flow of oxygen, which is precisely controlled by interchangeable stainless steel orifices that screw into the manifold’s five DISS outlets. This allows the device to support simultaneous oxygen delivery to up to five patients.

The specific constant flow rates configurable via the available orifices are:

  • 4 lpm (liters per minute)
  • 6 lpm
