The Cardiology IV is ideal for use in critical care and challenging environments such as the ED, ICU, Cardiac ICU, step-down unit, etc. by cardiologists, general practice physicians, EMTs, critical care nurses, and medical students.

  • Tunable diaphragm enables clinicians to hear high or low frequency sounds by adjusting the pressure on the chestpiece.
  • Dual-lumen tubing combines two sound paths in one, eliminating the rubbing noise that traditional double tubes create.
  • Headset is easily adjusted for individual fit and comfort.
  • Snap-tight, soft-sealing ear tips conform to individual ears for an excellent acoustic seal and comfortable fit.
  • Ear tips snap firmly onto the ends of the ear tubes and, for safety, require a significant effort to remove.
  • Resilient next-generation tubing retains its shape and flexibility even after folding tightly into a pocket.
  • Pediatric side of the chestpiece converts to a traditional open bell by removing the tunable diaphragm and replacing it with the included non-chill bell sleeve.
  • Improved resistance to skin oils and alcohol provides a longer stethoscope life.
  • Single piece diaphragms have less crevices, making them easier to clean.

High performing stethoscope

This is so far my favorite stethoscope. I grew up on the Littman Classic III, which is great. When I tried this one, it is easier to hear smaller patients, and appreciate quieter arrhythmias.
