Are there tips available for wound care debridement
Please give more info on applications

MFI Medical

For the ConMed Epilation/Telangiectasias Needle Electrode you referenced (CNM-714-S), this tip is part of the accessory family used with the ConMed Hyfrecator 2000. If you are looking for a generator to pair with that specific micro tip for telangiectasias and epilation, the Hyfrecator 2000 would be the matching unit:

ConMed Hyfrecator 2000: https://mfimedical.com/products/conmed-hyfrecator-2000
ConMed Epilation/Telangiectasias Needle Electrode (6/Pack): https://mfimedical.com/products/conmed-epilation-telangiectasias-needle-electrode
For warts and other benign lesions in primary care / basic cosmetic use, the Hyfrecator 2000 is described in our materials as a low-powered, multi-use electrosurgical generator for desiccation, coagulation, and fulguration in office settings, with a focus on dermatology and other clinic specialties. Our electrosurgery overview notes that electrosurgical techniques may be used for benign skin problems such as warts, moles, and actinic keratoses. With the Hyfrecator platform, you have access to a range of needle and general-purpose electrodes that support these types of office procedures, for example:

Hyfrecator Electrode Starter Kit (assorted needle and ball electrodes): https://mfimedical.com/products/conmed-hyfrecator-electrode-starter-kit
Hyfrecator Reusable Needle Electrode (5/Case): https://mfimedical.com/products/conmed-hyfrecator-reusable-needle-electrode
Electrolase Disposable Electrode - Sharp or Blunt Tip (for pinpoint or broader coagulation):
Sharp tip: https://mfimedical.com/products/conmed-electrolase-disposable-electrode-sharp-tip
Blunt tip: https://mfimedical.com/products/conmed-electrolase-disposable-electrode-blunt-tip
Regarding wound care debridement tips on the same machine: in the catalog information available to us, none of the Hyfrecator 2000 accessories are explicitly labeled as “wound debridement” electrodes by indication. The accessory line for the Hyfrecator includes various needle, ball, and loop-style electrodes for soft tissue cutting, coagulation, and fulguration, but the product data does not specify particular wound debridement protocols.

Practically, this means:

The Hyfrecator 2000 can accept a variety of small electrodes (such as the epilation/telangiectasia needle and the other Hyfrecator-labeled electrodes above) on the same generator.
Our documentation does not let us formally state that any specific tip is intended for wound debridement, so we cannot confirm that indication from our side.
Choice of electrode shape and power settings for wound care debridement, and whether a given Hyfrecator tip is appropriate for that purpose, would need to follow ConMed’s official instructions for use and your clinical judgment and wound care protocols.

If it would be helpful, I can narrow this down further by focusing on either:

A compact Hyfrecator 2000 setup optimized for primary care dermatology and benign lesion work, or
A combination of electrodes that best matches the mix of cosmetic, benign lesion, and wound patients you see most often.

Is this unit appropriate for telangectasia treatment? Warts?
What other specific applications for primary care and other clinic based procedures

MFI Medical

Hello Joel,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Based on the information we have, the ConMed Hyfrecator 2000 is a low-powered office electrosurgical generator designed for desiccation, coagulation, and fulguration. It is described as an ideal option for dermatology, urology, gynecology, plastic surgery, and many other office-based applications, and is commonly used as a multi-use generator in small to medium practices.

Regarding your specific questions:

Warts
Our electrosurgery overview notes that electrosurgical techniques may be used to treat a variety of skin problems, including warts, using high-frequency current to cut or destroy tissue while providing hemostasis. The Hyfrecator 2000 is identified as a generator that is ideal for these types of electrosurgical procedures when paired with compatible electrodes.

Telangiectasia
In the materials we have, telangiectasia is not listed by name as a specific indication. However, the Hyfrecator 2000 supports very fine needle electrodes and accessories designed for pinpoint coagulation of superficial tissue. These are the types of tools typically used in dermatologic procedures on small, superficial lesions. Whether you use it for facial or other telangiectasias should follow your training, clinical judgment, and ConMed’s official instructions for use and procedural guidance.

Other clinic and primary care applications
While our documentation does not give a complete indication list, it does highlight these general use areas for office and clinic settings:

Dermatology: Office-based electrosurgical procedures that rely on desiccation, coagulation, and fulguration of superficial lesions. Our electrosurgery guide notes that such techniques may be used for conditions like basal cell skin cancer (select cases), actinic keratoses, warts, and moles.
Gynecology: Electrosurgery may be used to remove abnormal cells from the cervix and to treat abnormal tissue of the vagina and vulva that might become cancer, in line with established clinical protocols.
Other office specialties: The Hyfrecator 2000 is positioned for use in urology and plastic surgery, and in general as a multi-use generator for small to medium practices where controlled coagulation or tissue destruction of superficial tissue is needed.
For any specific procedural indications, settings, and technique, please refer to ConMed’s official instructions for use and your specialty’s clinical guidelines, as we are not able to provide procedure-specific medical advice or training.

Let us know if you would like links to compatible electrodes or accessories for the types of procedures you have in mind.

Looking forward to your response.
