Description

The SleepSense AC Body Position Sensor with safety DIN connector is compatible with PSG units such as the Cadwell Easy III, CareFusion SensorMedics Viasys and SomnoStar Z4, Compumedics Grael HD and Somte, Natus Xltek and Stellate, NeuroVirtual BWII PSG and BWIII PSG/EEG, and Nihon Kohden Polysmith.

Using a gravity switch, the AC Body Position Sensor provides a signal that is directly proportional to the patient's sleeping posture (supine, prone, left, right, or sitting). The sensor may be connected to suitable high level channels on the recorder. It is designed with a small size and contour for improved patient tolerance.

SleepSense sleep-lab sensors are intended for use on children and adult patients who are screened during sleep disorder studies at a sleep laboratory or the patient's home.
