The Detecto 8550 Portable Stretcher Scale with Fold-Up Column is convenient, lightweight scale that includes two ramps and is compatible with stretchers, gurneys, and wheelchairs. It has a weight capacity of 800 lb, and can be used in clinics, long-term care homes, and emergency rooms. If a patient is confined to the stretcher, gurney, or wheelchair, this scale can quickly subtract the difference weight for an accurate reading. 

When the scale is not in use, the column and keypad can be folded down quickly and the whole unit is wheeled for ease of movement. Only one or two individuals are needed to move this scale around, and the slim design allows for movement through any doorway.
