Frequently asked questions

Does the anodized aluminum offer significant weight benefits?

Yes, the use of anodized aluminum alloy provides substantial durability while being significantly lighter than traditional medical containers. This reduced weight allows for much easier transport and handling in busy clinical environments.

Is the Safe Lid system effective for stacking units?

Absolutely. The Safe Lid system includes an auxiliary solid outer layer designed specifically to shield the filter area. This extra layer provides the protection necessary for safely stacking and storing multiple units without compromising the sterility or integrity of the contents.

What are the specific advantages of a non-perforated bottom?

The non-perforated bottom is specifically engineered for protocols where direct media contact through the base must be avoided. It provides a secure, solid barrier that is ideal for specialized sterilization requirements and protected storage.

Is this container a sustainable choice for facilities?

Yes, this is a reusable system designed for long-term, repeated use in sterilization cycles. By investing in this high-quality container, facilities can reduce reliance on disposable options, promoting a more sustainable clinical workflow.

Are these materials safe for individuals with latex sensitivities?

The SklarLite Sterilization Container is not made with natural rubber latex, making it a safe choice for medical environments where latex-free equipment is required.

How durable is the latch mechanism on this container?

The container features a sturdy, industrial-style metal clasp mechanism. It is precision-engineered to securely lock the lid, ensuring the safety of your instruments during storage and transport.

Does this container meet professional medical standards?

Yes, the product is CE marked, confirming that it meets rigorous quality and safety standards suitable for professional medical environments.

How should I maintain this container for long-term use?

This container is built for repeated, long-term use. To maintain its integrity, ensure it is processed according to standard sterilization protocols. Its anodized aluminum construction is designed to withstand frequent cycles while maintaining its structural performance.

Is this container suitable for organizing delicate instruments?

Yes, it is designed specifically for the secure sterilization and storage of medical instruments. The rigid, anodized aluminum body ensures that instruments are protected from physical impact during handling, helping to maintain their precise calibration and integrity.

What is the approximate internal depth of the container?

The container has an instrument depth (height) of 10 inches. With its overall dimensions of approximately 11-1/4” x 11” x 10”, it offers a generous space-to-footprint ratio for your sterilization needs.
