The Volkman retractor is available with 1 to 6 prong tips and the prongs can be sharp or blunt, depending on the surgical site and tissue type being held. This retractor may also be referred to as the Volkman Rake Retractor when there are multiple prongs. This product is straight with six, curved, sharp prong tips, and a length of 8-1/2 inches. It features a standard style handle which is a fenestrated circle and tear drop. The prongs are each 4.7mm wide. The head is 31.7 x 31.7mm wide, plus a 12.7mm curve between the prong tipe and prong shank.
