Description

Sklar's Lounsbury Placenta Curette is used to assist in removal of any remaining placenta. The overall length of this instrument is 13 inches. The handle is a rounded square with grooves for improved grip, along with a thumb/finger rest on two sides. The shaft is thin and round and leads to a large tear-drop shaped, fenestrated tip. The tip is approximately 1 inch long, 3/4" wide from side to side, and has a 1/4" thick wall. There is one sharp edge to assist in the removal procedures.
