Sklar's Heaney Forceps are ratcheted, finger ring forceps used for grasping uterine ligaments during vaginal hysterectomy procedures. They are available straight or curved with one or two teeth. Heaney forceps have diagonal serrations the full length of the jaws, and the jaws are approximately 1/3 the length of the shanks. The combination of serrations and teeth provide a secure hold on the ligaments. This product has a double tooth. One which is located slightly below the tip, and a second which is located half way down the inner jaw. It is curved and has an overall length of 8 inches.
