Sklar's Heaney Forceps are ratcheted, finger ring forceps used for grasping uterine ligaments during vaginal hysterectomy procedures. They are available straight or curved with one or two teeth. Heaney forceps have diagonal serrations the full length of the jaws, and the jaws are approximately 1/3 the length of the shanks. The combination of serrations and teeth provide a secure hold on the ligaments. This product has a single tooth which is located slightly below the tip.
