Sklar's Laufe polyp forceps are ratcheted, finger ring forceps commonly used to remove polyps from the uterus. Fenestrated, serrated, oval tips provide an ideal grasping surface for successful removal of these growths. The jaws are curved slightly to provide the user with a view unobstructed by the instrument. Sklar Blue electrosurgical instruments have an insulated coating to prevent radio frequency currents from being transmitted through the instrument - thereby reducing burning of non-targeted tissues. Sklar Blue instruments are fully autoclavable and may also be cleaned ultrasonically.
