Description

The Sklar Blue Auvard Weighted Vaginal Speculum is a single end vaginal speculum commonly used in electrosurgical OB/GYN procedures. It is available with various blades styles and three weight choices in order to accommodate the needs of the patient and the procedure. The weight holds the speculum in place and provides an open view for the surgeon to perform procedures. Sklar Blue electrosurgical instruments feature high quality stainless steel with an insulated coating. This safe coating prevents radio frequency currents from being transmitted through the instrument which reduces the burning of non-targeted tissue. Sklar Blue instruments are fully autoclavable and may also be cleaned ultrasonically. All Sklar Blue coated instruments comply with biological testing requirements for cytotoxicity, sensitization regulatory, and ISO 10993 requirements. They also comply with the Pre-Vacuum and Gravity Cycle Steam Sterilization Validation of ANSI/AAMI ST79. Sklar Blue electrosurgical coatings are guaranteed for one year against manufacturing defects. This product has 4" x 1 3/4" blade with a medium, 2-1/2 pound weight. It has a loop to hold and direct disposable smoke evacuation tubing.
