Sklar's Barnhill Adenoid Curette is a debunking instrument used primarily in adenoidectomy procedures. It has a curved, rectangular, fenestrated tip with a sharp inner blade that is used to scrape away adenoids or tonsils. It is available with a variety of blade widths. The Barnhill Adenoid Curette is similar to the Beckman adenoid curette; however, the working end of the Beckman curette is slightly wider and shorter, resembling more of a square shape. The Beckman curette is also slightly longer in overall length. This product is the #4 curette. It has a 18mm wide blade and an overall length of 8-1/4 inches.
