Horizontal serrations the entire length of the jaw, and jaws half the length of the shank make this instrument unique. There is a ratchet locking mechanism for a tight, secure hold on vessels. They may also be used for soft tissue dissection typically no deeper than 6-8 inches or in Laparotomy procedures. Econo instruments are Sklar's floor-grade, disposable instruments and are sold in bulk quantities. This product is straight with serrated tips and a length of 5-1/2 inches.
