Certified Refurbished

MFI Certified Refurbished products have been inspected and tested by qualified suppliers and/or biomedical engineers to work and look like new, and are always backed up by the MFI Certified Guarantee. Equipment has been refurbished, tested, and internally certified by MFI to look and work like new (unless otherwise noted on the product detail page).

The MFI Certified Guarantee is applicable on all certified products where specifically mentioned on the product information page. With this guarantee, you are eligible for a replacement or refund within 30 days of receiving the product if it does not work as expected. 

What is MFI Certified Refurbished?

At MFI Medical, you can discover and buy pre-owned, refurbished, demo and open-box products that have been professionally inspected and tested to work and look like new by MFI-qualified and performance-managed suppliers or MFI Medical technicians.

The inspection and testing process typically includes:

• Full diagnostic test.
• Replacement of any defective parts.
• Thorough cleaning process carried out by the supplier, or by MFI.

The inspection and testing process is carried out by the supplier, certified bio-engineer, or by Amazon. All products subject to the MFI certification process have no visible cosmetic imperfections when held 12 inches away. The products may be packaged in a generic box (not original manufacturer's) but will include the necessary accessories expected for a new product, with exceptions (if any), mentioned on the product detail page.

Note: Batteries tested to have at least 80% capacity relative to new at the time of sale.

MFI Certified Guarantee

MFI Certified Refurbished products are backed by the MFI Certified Guarantee where specifically mentioned on the product detail page. You can find this information near the lead time and product price.

With this guarantee, you are eligible for a replacement or refund within 30 days of receiving the product if it does not work as expected. MFI Certified products can be returned within 30 days of receipt of shipment, and qualify for free return shipping. If your return is the result of an MFI error, or defective, MFI will refund the original shipping fees.

What if I am not satisfied with the product I receive?

MFI Certified products are backed by the MFI Certified Guarantee. With this guarantee, you can feel confident in your purchase knowing you are able to return if you are not completely satisfied within 30 days. This guarantee is in conjunction with MFI’s standard return policy that applies to most products. 

Products sold as MFI Certified have been inspected and tested to work and look like new by an MFI qualified and performance managed supplier who is either the seller of record, when that is not mfimedical.com, or a third party vendor, when mfimedical.com sells products that it sources from third party vendors.

The suppliers, who may be qualified manufacturers or specialized third-party refurbishers, must meet strict criteria to be able to sell on MFI Certified and meet ongoing performance targets. For details, please check the supplier or product details as well as the product packaging.
