The TIDI Posey Premium Heel Guards (1 Pair) (#6145) protect the lower leg and foot, expertly designed to combat skin breakdown. Made from high-resilience foam, these guards elevate the heel, mitigating the hazards associated with foot drop.

Their unique design features ventilation holes on both the heel and sides, allowing for enhanced airflow and preventing heat accumulation. The open heel cutout design ensures the heel remains suspended, significantly diminishing the potential for pressure injuries. The guard comes with an adjustable foam block and straps for tailored heel elevation and control of foot drop. With an outer lining engineered to minimize shear and friction, these guards also comply with CA #117, Section E Flame Retardancy Standards. Universally sized, they're recommended for patients vulnerable to skin breakdown and friction burns.
