The SunTech Tango M2 Blood Pressure Monitor is a reliable, automated blood pressure monitor that provides dual blood pressure measurement modes for cardiac stress and exercise.

The SunTech Tango M2 Blood Pressure Monitor offers accurate and hands-free monitoring for Cardiac Stress and Exercise Testing. The device stands alone in the marketplace as it's the only device designed specifically as "motion tolerant" and will automatically take a blood pressure reading during stress testing. This allows the health care provider more valuable time to work directly with their patients.

The Tango M2 is designed to work directly with your stress system. When the two devices are properly connected, the stress system will automatically prompt the monitor to take blood pressure readings during the stress test study. Tango M2 will send blood pressure, SpO2 and heart rate measurement data back to the stress system. With the optional Internal ECG, Tango M2 can also be used without being connected to a stress system.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Tango M2 exceptionally motion tolerant?

Yes, the SunTech Tango M2 is uniquely engineered to be highly motion tolerant, a crucial feature specifically designed for use during cardiac stress and exercise testing.

  • It is designed as the only device that automatically takes blood pressure readings during physical stress testing, reliably capturing data while the patient is active.
  • This hands-free operation enables accurate, automated monitoring during movement, allowing clinicians more time for direct patient interaction.
  • The system utilizes Auscultatory R-wave gating (K-sound analysis) during active stress phases to maintain measurement accuracy.
Does the Tango M2 integrate easily with stress systems?

Yes, the SunTech Tango M2 is specifically engineered for seamless, hands-free integration with primary cardiac stress and exercise testing systems. This design ensures accurate data capture and maximizes clinical efficiency while the patient is active.

Key integration features include:

  • Automated Data Transfer: The connected stress system automatically prompts BP readings. The Tango M2 transmits vital information, including Blood Pressure (BP), SpO2, and Heart Rate (HR) data, directly back to the system.
  • Minimized Errors: Automated data transmission significantly reduces the potential for manual transcription errors common in busy clinical environments.
  • Verified Compatibility: The device is offered in specific variants to ensure direct compatibility with major stress testing platforms, including systems from GE and Welch Allyn.
Does the Tango M2 offer dual BP measurement modes?

Yes, the SunTech Tango M2 is specifically engineered for cardiac stress and exercise testing, featuring dual blood pressure measurement modes to ensure accurate, hands-free NIBP monitoring during both static and active patient phases.

The dual modes are:

  • Auscultatory R-wave Gating (DKA Mode): This technique uses Korotkoff sound (K-sound) analysis for measurement. It is designed to be highly motion tolerant, allowing reliable and automatic BP readings to be taken during the active, high-motion phases of exercise testing.
  • Oscillometric (OSC Mode): This standard measurement technique is utilized for BP measurement only during static measurements when the patient is at rest.
Is the Tango M2 unit compact and lightweight?

Yes, the SunTech Tango M2 is designed to be a compact and lightweight monitoring unit, specifically tailored for efficient use and easy placement during cardiac stress and exercise testing. Its small form factor helps maximize caregiver time and simplifies setup in clinical environments.

Here are the specific specifications for the main unit:

  • Weight: Approximately 3.725 lb (1.7 kg)
  • Dimensions (L x W x H): 9.5” x 6.9” x 4.5” (24.1 cm x 17.5 cm x 11.4 cm)

For versatile placement, the monitor is packaged with a pole clamp and screws, allowing for secure mounting in various clinical settings.

Are there multiple ECG source options?

Yes, the SunTech Tango M2 offers flexible ECG source options to ensure reliable R-wave gating for accurate blood pressure readings during cardiac stress testing:

  • Primary Source: The monitor is primarily designed to receive the ECG signal from the integrated stress ECG system or an external source (like a standalone ECG machine). This ensures automated data transfer and seamless operation within a comprehensive stress setup.

  • Secondary Option: A secondary option is available, allowing the monitor to acquire the necessary triggering signal using the V2, V6, and RL leads if the primary integrated source is not utilized. This provides adaptability for various testing scenarios.

What are the pressure ranges in DKA Mode?

The DKA (Dynamic K-sound Analysis) mode utilizes Auscultatory R-wave gating and K-sound analysis. This advanced technique is specifically designed for reliable, automated blood pressure monitoring during the active, motion-tolerant phase of cardiac stress and exercise testing.

The measurement ranges for blood pressure in the DKA mode are:

  • Systolic Pressure Range: 40 – 270 mmHg
  • Diastolic Pressure Range: 20 – 160 mmHg
Does the monitor include a large color display?

Yes, the SunTech Tango M2 features a new 7-inch color LCD display. This large screen is optimized for enhanced usability and improved visibility of critical data during active cardiac stress and exercise testing. A significant benefit is the measurement verification capability, which allows clinicians to observe the readings while simultaneously listening to the Korotkoff sounds via the included headphones.

Does the monitor support easy field software upgrades?

Yes, the SunTech Tango M2 Blood Pressure Monitor is designed for future-proofing. It includes a USB port that allows for convenient field software upgrades. This ensures your device can easily receive the latest functionalities and improvements.

Does the monitor store extensive historical BP data?
