The DC Body Position Sensor uses a gravity switch to provide a signal that is directly proportional to the patient's sleeping posture (supine, prone, left, right, or sitting). It is designed with a small size and contour for improved patient tolerance.

SleepSense sleep-lab sensors are intended for use on children and adult patients who are screened during sleep disorder studies at a sleep laboratory or the patient's home.
