Description

Sklarlite Operating Scissors, also known as Surgical Scissors, are a versatile surgical instrument. With three available tip configurations (sharp/sharp, blunt/blunt, or sharp/blunt), varying curvatures and multiple lengths, these scissors are used for general, multipurpose cutting and dissecting. Sharp Operating Scissors cut tougher tissue and are frequently used for dissecting, whereas blunt Operating Scissors are more often used for cutting materials such as sutures, tubing, or gauze. Sklarlite instruments are a lighter version of standard Sklar instruments. A unique manufacturing process developed by Sklar shaves microns off standard and delicate pattern instruments while maintaining structural integrity and durability. This lightweight modification provides the surgeon with greater control and less fatigue. This product is straight with smooth, sharp/sharp tips, and a length of 5 inches.

Absolutely. Despite the extra-light construction, they are crafted from premium-grade stainless steel. This proprietary manufacturing process ensures that structural integrity is fully maintained, offering the long-term durability expected from professional surgical tools.

Are these suitable for cutting tougher tissue?

These scissors are an excellent choice for tougher tissue. Featuring smooth, sharp/sharp tips and a straight configuration, they are specifically designed for efficient dissection and multipurpose cutting in professional medical or laboratory environments.

Is this instrument latex-free for patient safety?

Yes, you can use these with confidence. This instrument is completely free from natural rubber latex, making it a safe choice for medical environments where latex sensitivity or allergies are a concern.
