It may also be used to scrape and remove small portions of the bone itself. Volkmann bone curettes are available as single or double-ended instruments, in various lengths, with multiple tip configurations. This is the #1 curette and has one oval scoop tip measuring 6.8mm width. The working edge is sharp. This product is straight with a flat, smooth handle that is approximately 10mm wide and gradually tapers to the tips. It has an overall length of 6-3/4 inches.
