Sklar's Taylor Percussion Hammer, also known as a tomahawk reflex hammer due to the shape of it's head, is a diagnostic instrument used to stimulate reflexes and detect central nervous system abnormalities. It consists of a triangular, solid, non-latex, silicone head and a solid, flat, metal handle. It is available in two sizes. The Taylor is significantly lighter than many of the other hammers specifically designed for reflex testing. The Taylor in the physician grade, office grade, and floor grade versions.
