Description

Sklar's Sims Vaginal Retractor is a handheld retractor used primarily for vaginal retraction and exposure. This retractor is available as a single or double-ended instrument with the blades always curved at right angles. This product has a single blade and a Sklar Grip handle that features ridges for comfortable finger placement and added control. There is also a slight curve at the base of the handle for finger placement. The blade is inserted into the vagina to retract the anterior wall so that the posterior wall can be viewed. The blade is trough shaped, which serves to catch and drain blood or fluid that may exit the surgical site. This product is the large Sims retractor with a blade measuring 3-1/2" x 1-1/2".
