Sklar's mini mallet is an instrument used with gouges, rasps, and chisels to chip and remove bone during orthopedic surgery procedures. This product has a solid steel handle with thumb rest and a 20mm diameter face. The head weight (4 ounce and 5 ounce) is much ligher than the classic Kirk, Bergmann or Cottle. The features of this mini mallet more closely resemble the Thiess.
