Description

Sklar's Kerrision detachable forward-cutting rongeur with thin footplates and an ejector is used in spinal laminectomy procedures of the vertebral arch. The profile size allows for use in delicate areas near the spinal cord. This version has a 40 degree downward angled tip, and is available in different lengths and bite sizes. When the back hammer is pulled, the crossbar detaches from the shank, easing sterilization and the opening of the Kerrison.
