Sklar's Desmarres Lid Retractor is a handheld ophthalmologic retractor used for retaining primarily the upper eyelid and eyelashes. It may be used to pull down the lower lid as well. The curved, saddle style blade contours to the round shape of the eye as well as the curvature of the eyelid created when it is retracted. It is available in multiple sizes to fit the patient's eye. This product has a 16mm blade and is 6-1/4 inches long.
