Sklar Cushing Tissue Forceps are light to medium weight thumb forceps used on delicate tissue. They are commonly used in neurosurgery and may be referred to as brain forceps. Cushing forceps have very narrow tips and are useful in small surgical areas. These forceps feature delicate serrations to securely grasp the tissue, but also have a stop peg to prevent an overly harsh grasp that may crush the tissue. They are available with a standard, Gutch, or bayonet handle depending on the surgical site and user preference. This product is 7 inches long and features a grooved Gutch handle.
