Description

Sklar's Beckman-Weitlaner Retractor is a self-retaining retractor used in procedures where a rigid retractor may not be able to adequately hold back tissue due to the location or shape of the surgical site. It is often used in neck/thyroid, intracranial, and spinal procedures. This instrument features hinges on both shanks, midway between the handle and the jaws. This allows greater movement of the instrument and ultimately greater retraction and exposure of the tissue. Additionally, the prongs are available sharp or blunt, to accomodate both tough and delicate tissue. The finger ring handle is ratcheted so it can be locked into position. This product has 3x4 sharp prongs and an overall length of 5-1/2 inches.
