Description

The Sklar Alexander Mastoid Gouge is an ENT instrument used to carve away portions of the mastoid bone, typically due to infection. The gouge has one solid end that is the handle and is tapped on the end with a hammer to push the opposite blade end along and into the bone section to be removed.
